Data on copper and copper/iron bimetallic central MOFs for uranium (VI) adsorption
Description
Uranium is an important energy source. Nowadays, with the continuous development of nuclear power industry, the demand for uranium resources is increasing, and traditional uranium resources are increasingly scarce. However, A large amount of radioactive wastewater is generated during the production and refining process of uranium mines and the use of nuclear fuels. Here, we provide data on the adsorption of uranium from wastewater using two MOFs. This is a study on how to extract uranium from wastewater and to turn waste into treasures. The data indicated that pH value has a great influence on the adsorption of uranium. And the effect of the initial concentration of U(VI), the reaction time, the reaction temperature and the presence of coexisting ion CO32- were also discussed in these dates.
