Description

Raw data : species abundance of Arctiinae moths and plants per sampling station, in th two serpentine area (Western Cuba)

Steps to reproduce

Diversity and relative abundance of Arctiinae moth (Erebidae) in serpentine ecosystems in Cuba. At each sampling station, we used a light trap by the vertical sheet method (McFarland, 1966) to attract the moths. Moth species identification was done in situ to allow the release of moths, and was complemented with barcoding confirmation using DNA from legs collected from one or few specimens per species. We compared moth assemblages’ diversity in space and time, by calculating standard estimates of species richness and diversity .
