Effects of Human Resource Information Systems in traditional HRM Processes

In a fast-growing competitive environment, human resources play a dynamic source of sustainable development for the organization. Human resource system provides competitive benefits to support and train employees' skills that can boost organizational productivity. To reduce the labour-intensiveness of executive activities, organizations have introduced IT-oriented software application to modernize the internal management processes which will improve the human resource management systems. The widespread application of information system in HRM has led the HRM activities in many organizations and it has been shown that the information system enhanced the efficiency of HR managerial activities. Due to the adoption of IT in the HRM work process, the role of HR managers has increased and the use of HRIS leads to continuous improvement in knowledge of the employees. This is a theoretical paper which will analyze the adoption of a human resource information system (HRIS) in the organization and how it works effectively with the traditional HRM process into the transformed HRM system by edging the three-tier model and proposed a theoretical model for the article. The objective of this study is to examine the role of HRIS in traditional human resources process of the organization and analyze the effects of it’s on the three-tier structure of HRM and will be proposed a theoretical model based on literatures review. Finding is The human resource management is paramount for every company that needs a competitive edge over its rivals because in companies’ individuals create the design. The conceptual research paper subjected to examine the effects of HRIS on the three-tier model of HRM this study further leads to the four-tier pyramid of HRM which need to do a research study more in future.
