Description

Raw Data associated to the Paillé et al (2023) Distinctive participation of transcription coupled- and global genome- nucleotide excision repair of pyrimidine dimers in the transcribed strand of yeast rRNA genes. Biochemestry (in submission process). High resolution mapping of UV induced DNA damage results : Repair of pyrimidine dimers at a nucleotide resolution in the rRNA genes regions of WT, rad34 and rad16 yeast strains at promoter, 5'end, 18S and 25S regions of transcribed strand and non-transcribed strand. Yeast were UV irradiated at 180 J/m2 and harvested after 0, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 hours (hrs). Isolated DNA from non-irradiated (U) and irradiated cells (0 to 4 hrs) were digested with appropriated restriction enzyme (Figure 1A) and used as template for Taq polymerase primer-extension. Repair of PDs was assessed by the extension of appropriated primers (Figure 1A).
