Description

The proposed dataset is a table of documents relating to the development, creation and research of lead-free ferroelectric materials based on alkali metals (sodium, potassium, lithium) niobates (AMNs). The table contains the Eid identifiers of documents, their titles, authors, years of publication and other related metadata. Selection of documents for this research area produced in a combined way, including requests to the Scopus data directly through a Web-interface, and automatic processing using ScopusAPI web-services and specially developed software algorithms. The main selection criterion was the use of n-component systems involving AMNs as objects of study. Single compounds LiNbO3, NaNbO3 and KNbO3 were excluded from the search process due to the specificity of their development and application. The titles and annotations retrieved by ScopusAPI web-services were next passed through the automatic treatment using Perl compatible regular expression based searches for the corresponding chemical formulas. The final sample included 2826 documents of different types, published between 1954 and 2017, completely match the search criteria. Due to the high variability of the materials descriptions, as well as some amount of errors in the metadata contained in the database, the sample is intended to be a representative one only.
