KlugOculus: A Vision based Intelligent Architecture for Security System

Description

This paper presents KlugOculus, a wireless smart camera network using Raspberry Pi and Atmega328 customized Board. KlugOculus can be used in diverse applications and these applications can be variety of outdoor and indoor like Surrounding supervision, out of control fire counteractive action and identification, behavior analysis of various audience in variety of applications (students in classroom, patient in hospitals or workers in fields or mines, to name a few). KlugOculus is a vision based intelligent architecture for security system which is designed and assembled in such a way that it is easy to handle and portable. The on-board processing capability of KlugOculus makes it a versatile device and allows PC vision programming to run locally and self-rulingly. This makes it capable to implement and process vision-based applications. KlugOculus can be deployed as a fixed unit to monitor the stream and monitor the vision-based events; on the other hand, it can be set up as a moveable or wearable unit to ease the work of security people like traffic police, airport security, etc. This portable unit can provide great ease for identification and authentication of suspects at all the layers of security.
