Description

This dataset comprises simulations performed with the grapevine simulation model IVINE (Italian Vineyard Integrated Numerical model for Estimating physiological values), which aims at evaluating environmental forcing effects on vine growth. IVINE requires a set of agrometeorological data and soil water status as boundary conditions and simulates physiological growth processese and phenological vine growth with parameterizations at a vineyard scale. The primary model outputs are main phenological stages, leaf development, yield, and sugar concentration. The dataset presents vineyard simulations in three Italian sites (Dogliani, Ghemme, Castiglion Falletto) in 2000-2020 and it has been developed to be used by candidates of the first award of the Italian Agrometeorological Society (AIAM) for the best young Scientific Artist award.
