Hygroscopicity and CCN activity of water extracts in Arctic aerosols

Description

This dataset includes the mass concentrations of major inorganic ions and organic matter in the Arctic aerosols. Total suspended particulate matter (TSP) was collected from the atmosphere on a quartz filter at Alert (82.5°N, 62.3°W) in the Canadian High Arctic from late winter to early summer (19 February to 10 June 1991). This dataset also includes the hygroscopic growth factor (gf) of water extracts of the filter samples.
