Steps to reproduce
Data acquired from all studies included in the review. Two independent researchers extracted data from selected articles. Any conflicts were resolved by a third reviewer. Authors were contacted to obtain any missing data. Standard deviations if not available were calculated with the RevMan calculator (Cochrane collaboration) Demographics and outcomes were documented in an excel spreadsheet (Microsoft). RevMan5.4 was used to analyse data using a random effects model to obtain Forrest plots. Heterogeneity was also calculated with the RevMan 5.4 software.
