Data for: Numerical Investigation of Spatial and Temporal Structure of Annular Flow with Disturbance Waves

Entrainment and disturbance waves are simulated by VOF method. A systematic processing method is developed to accurately and efficiently calculate film thickness, which is the basis of calculation of wave parameter. Calculated film thickness is shown in two ways. One is z-t representation, which shows the result for each polar angle. These correspond to folders "z_t_B_0(10)_filtered(raw)", where 0 means there is no damping term, 10 means a turbulence damping term is considered, filtered means a three-point median filtering is used to remove fast droplets, raw means raw data without filtering. The other way is theta-z representation where instantaneous film thickness distribution on the tube wall is shown for each saved time. Two videos are made based on these figures, "B_0.mp4" is for non-damping case, while "B_10.mp4" is for the simulation with turbulence damping term.
