This dataset has carbon budgets for the UK sub-national areas that are derived from the commitments enshrined in the Paris Agreement. The budgets are for only carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from the energy system (power, heat, cooling, surface transport and industry) for the time period of 2020 to 2100. This dataset is for all the UK local authorities and can be viewed on the website https://carbonbudget.manchester.ac.uk/.
