Description

This dataset was gathered from February 18, 2020 and January 18, using the French haemovigilance network. Provided information are related to donations: date of donation, gender and age of the donor), and to post-donation information (PDI) and SARS-CoV-2 infection: type of PDI, onset and type of symptoms if any, date of PDI, date of positive nasoparyngeal RT-PCR if any, result of the nasoparyngeal RT-PCR or antigenic testing, and result of SARS-CoV-2 RNA screening in plasma (RT-PCR1). These data were used in the description of COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2 related PDI during the first year of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in France, and to evaluate the RNAemia in blood donors reporting such PDI.
