The survey was designed to elicit quantitative data. The survey respondents are Black undergraduate students from the Edmonton area. The survey was distributed and completed questionnaires collected at a two-day event held in August 2023 at the U of A Faculty of Law under the auspices of the ELITE Program Pathway for Law . The survey responses were manually entered into Excel and then imported into SPSS 29 for analysis. Chi-square tests were used to identify patterns in the quantitative data. The data analysis was not pre-registered.
