Description

Coastal dynamics were estimated based on the sand budget (ratio between the erosion and accumulation at the key sites). During the monitoring (autumn 2014 – spring 2016), six scanning sessions were conducted at the km 14 site and five sessions at the km 42 site to estimate erosion processes in different seasons.The TLS-aided computation of the volume of sand materials employs combined calculations. The volume of losses and depositional gains is computed for each cell. One of the object’s states is assumed as the vertical datum.
