Dataset for MS_NWSCS
Description
A field survey was conducted in the western shelf of the Northern South China Sea from August 13 to 24, 2024 onboard the R/V Haike 68. We conducted underway pCO2 measurements and took discrete carbonate samples during the cruise. This file includes continuous underway data (SST, SSS, pH, DO, pCO2, and fluxes calculated with four k parameterizations) in the sheet “Underway”, the carbonate chemistry data (temperature, salinity, pH, DO, TA, DIC) in the sheet “Discrete”, the underway data (SST, SSS, DO, pCO2) within Zhanjiang Bay before and after typhoon in the sheet “Zhanjiang”, the daily wind speed and direction during the sampling month in the sheet “Daily wind”, and the monthly mean discharges of the three rivers (Pearl River, Jianjiang River, and Nandu River) during 2024 and historical periods in the sheet “River discharge”.
