Description

Serum vitamin D3 and vitamin D2 were extracted with organic solvent extraction system. An aliquot of organic phase was processed and injected into a reverse phase HPLC column. Total vitamin D (vitamin D3 and vitamin D2) were detected at 265 nm using a UV detector. (H3) 25(OH)D3 was used as an internal standard to account for processing losses and calculate recovery.
