This repository contains the experimental source code to reproduce the numerical experiments in: Alireza Hosseini and Kristian Bredies. A Second-Order TGV Discretization with Some Invariance Properties, 2022, https://arxiv.org/pdf/2209.11450.pdf If you find these codes useful, please cite the above-mentioned paper. Denoising problems are solved via 4 variational models: 1- The Classic TV (ROF model) ; 2- The Condat's TV; 3- The Classic Discrete Second Order TGV; 4- The Propsoesd Discrete Second Order TGV (above paper). Moreover, values of two second order TGVs (3 and 4 above) for the given image and its 90 degree rotated version are computed to illustrate invariance property of the proposed model.
