Description

CLAY/7/691 is a genuinely multivariate generic CPTu-USS dataset compiled utilizing the CLAY/6/535 and CLAY/10/7490 datasets provided by ISSMGE TC304 (available on: http://140.112.12.21/issmge/tc304.htm?=6). The term "generic" describes a database that covers a broader range of conditions than those encountered at specific sites. The term "genuinely multivariate" implies that all properties are measured simultaneously and recorded in the same dataset line. The CLAY/7/691 dataset comprises 691 data points for seven clay parameters that span 15 countries/regions globally, namely Canada, North Sea, UK, Norway, USA, Sweden, Haga, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Venezuela, Brazil, Italy, Korea, and one unlabelled place. The seven clay parameters are depth; vertical effective stress; normalized cone tip resistance; effective cone tip resistance; excess pore pressure; pore presure ratio; and undrained shear strength. CLAY/7/64 is a regional clay dataset located in Drammen, Norway, consisting of 64 data points. It is chosen as the site-specific testing dataset.
