Steps to reproduce
We conducted a literature search using the Scopus database (January 1980 to June 2025) with the following search terms: “nitrification AND inhibitors AND accumulation AND plant AND structures OR dry AND weight OR biomass OR diameter OR length OR yield”. The keywords used attempted to integrate information on the use of nitrification inhibitors and how to measure their impact on the accumulation of different forms of nitrogen. To ensure a standard of quality in the results and the study’s replicability, we limited the search to peer-reviewed articles in English. A total of 17 usable articles yielding a total of 185 case studies (included in this database). The literature search followed the procedures established by the PRISMA statement.
