Description

These supplemental data contain site-specific estimates of chemical energy (COD) and total dry solids by waste phase for >15000 wastewater treatment facilities in the US under present and hypothetical future conditions. The intent of the data are to support national scale waste-to-energy modeling, and the values for any given site may not match actual site conditions.

The methods and assumptions used to create this dataset are discussed in detail in a manuscript published in the Elsevier Journal of Environmental Management by Seiple et al.
