Steps to reproduce
Synthesis of amino acid-based sol-gel precursors was performed as follow : H-AA-NH2 (H-Tyr-NH2; H-Ser-NH2; H-Arg-NH2; H-Leu-NH2) and ICPTES (1: 0.95 M ratio) were dissolved into dry DMF in presence of 4 eq of the base DIEA or sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3). Reaction was carried out under inert atmosphere at 25 °C. Once finished (4 h for Si-Tyr-NH2 and 24 h for the others), product was precipitated with cooled diethyl ether (Si-Tyr-NH2; Si-Ser-NH2; Si-Arg-NH2 and Si-Leu-NH2). The resulting powders were analysed by 1H NMR and 29Si DEPT NMR in order to confirm the structure and the absence of hydrolysis of the product.
