Description

This dataset contains raw electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding data in the form of .s2p files and .opj, generated during the study titled [Tertiary nanocomposites of polyaniline/graphene/Ta2C MXene: High-performance free-standing EMI shields]. The .s2p format files include the raw data oftransmittance coefficient and reflectance coefficients of PANI, Ta2C MXene and PGM nano composites. The .opj files are detailed calculations and results generated from .s2p.

Steps to reproduce

The uploaded .s2p files contain S-parameters (S11, S21, etc.) measured using a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). To analyze the data, use compatible software such as MATLAB, Keysight ADS, or Origin (I've used Origin Software to access .s2p files). Transmission T is calculated from S21 and Reflection R is calculated from S11. Shielding efficiency due to absorption (SE_A) and shielding efficiency due to reflection is calculated from R and T using equations.
