Occupational Health Hazard Assessment Questionnaire in the Era of COVID-19
Description
This questionnaire is a modified standardized structured questionnaire with occupational exposure measurement classification derived from the International Occupational Hazards Database of the International Labour Organization Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre(International Labour Organization). The questionnaire was modified to suit the local context composed largely of closed-ended questions. The questionnaire was segregated into four parts i.e. parts A, B, C, and D. Part A gathered data on the general sociodemographic characteristics of the healthcare workers comprising age, gender, marital status, monthly income, discipline type/profession, number of years of service among others; part B gathered data on availability of infection prevention and control measures; part C collected data on participants exposure to occupational hazards (subcategorized into accidental hazards, physical hazards, biological hazards, chemical hazards, ergonomic hazards and work organization hazards also known as psychosocial) and finally part D obtained data on HCW’s work environmental satisfaction, work related stress symptoms and job satisfaction. Each questions C and D comprised one of yes/no question for part C and one of three Likert scale question for part D (agree/neutral/disagree and no/sometimes/serious) on COVID-19 to assess the degree of impact of COVID-19 on the occupational exposure parameters under assessment.
