Scalp Transposition Flap as Both Defect Cover and Split-Thickness Skin Graft Donor - Supplemental Content

Description

Supplemental content: Photograph of the patient’s healing at 1 month postoperatively. The flap’s donor site is engrafted, and the alopecic area has shifted backward. The random pattern transposition flap did not suffer from ischemia and is completely healed. The split-thickness skin graft donor site is also healed, although still hyperkeratotic at 1 month and was treated with moisturizer. Hairs has regrown on the flap. The standing cone has subsided but is still present (the patient did not want revision), however, it can be easily removed under local anesthesia.
