This dataset include all the data, codes and figures for the paper Zheng et al - Mitigating curtailment and carbon emissions through data center load migration, Joule (2020), https://doi.org/10.1016/j.joule.2020.08.001. Please cite the paper if you use this dataset. A READ_ME.txt is available in the folder listing the name and description of each file. - "Data" folder includes the hourly generation & hourly life cycle GHG intensities of CAISO and PJM and hourly curtailment of CAISO during 2015/2016-2019. Other data for calculation and the results for Fig. 4 are also included in this folder. - "Codes" folder include all the R codes used for data collection, data cleaning and plots generation for Fig. 1-4. - "Figures" folder include Figure 1-4 in the main text.
