A wide range of pain-related musculoskeletal diseases and postural dysfunctions could be brought on by carrying large backpacks and sitting incorrectly.Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find the normative reference value of craniovertebral angle among school going children through an observational study

Steps to reproduce

The 125 school-age participants in this observational study ranged in age from 8 to 14 years. The neck was exposed, the C7 vertebrae and the tragus of the ear were marked with coloured markers, and the acquiescence was obtained voluntarily. The cranio-vertebral angle (CVA), which is used to measure FHP, was determined using Kinovea software by digitising an image.
