Description

This raw data includes score of each question in five-point Likert scale and demographic information of the participants. The data was used in the study which tried to investigate the persistence of skin-based reference frame during the multisensory integration process in body ownership illusion. Synchronous visuotactile stimulation with spatial incongruence between vision and touch was provided in virtual reality to induce body ownership of the virtual hand. The intensity of body ownership illusion was measured to quantify the tolerance for spatial incongruence. The results showed anisotropic pattern in spatial incongruence tolerance which was interpreted to reflect the persistence of skin-based reference frame during visuotactile integration.
