Description

The experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design, with four replicates. Each experimental unit was composed by eight plants. The 16 treatments tested are listed in table 1. A total of 37 harvests were carried out, twice a week, during the complete maturity stage, segregating commercial from non-commercial fruits. Commercial fruits harvested in each experimental unit were weighed with the aid of a scale. Afterwards, the fruit mass per plant was calculated, dividing total mass of reaped fruits by the number of plants in the experimental units. The values of mean mass of fruits per plant (g plant-1), obtained in each harvest, was continuously accumulated for each experimental units
