Description

The data contains of two sub-datasets. The first one is on the household level and contains information on 463 oil palm farming households in Ghana and their demand for formal credit and banks. The second one is at the credit level and contains information on the collateral submitted to the bank and whether or not the credit application was approved. 164 of the households produce under resource-providing contracts, 193 under verbal marketing contracts and 106 without any contracts.
