Description

In this work, we use a Box-Behnken design to evaluate the effect of external ultrasound parameters (power, time, and sonication cycles) to prepare PLA nanoparticles by the simple emulsion solvent evaporation methodology to predict and modulate nanoparticulate systems with desired size and narrow distributions depending on the final application. The results of this research can be used to support future preparations of PLA-based PNPs with narrow particle size distributions, reducing production time and costs and ensuring adequate reproducibility.
