Description

This dataset includes data from the three tables that appearsw in the manuscript titled "Intrasample osmium isotope disequilibrium" by Bharadwaj and Sharma (202x). Table 1 is the procedural blanks; Table 2 is the Os-isotope data for Hawaiian basalts and Mohns Ridge basalt; Table 3 is the Re and Mo concentrations for leachates of these samples. The Os-isotope data are a result of a new technique of investigating intrasample Os isotope heterogeneity in young volcanic rocks, currently being revised for publication at GCA. These data are used to interpret the origin of labile, radiogenic Os release during acidic bromide leaching of these samples. The Os-isotope data in conjunction with previously published geochemical data is used to draw inferences about the mantle sources of the corresponding locations that the samples are derived from.
