Description

Raw data of the manuscript entitled “An innovative energy-saving greenhouse heating system utilizing energy transfer between greenhouses based on dual-source heat pump: Design and implementation”. The datasets are briefly illustrated as follows:  Dataset_1: Outdoor climate, including air temperature, solar radiation, and wind speed, during greenhouse heating seasons in Shouguang, Shandong Province, China (Nov. 1, 2020 - Apr. 1, 2021).  Dataset_2: Heating COPs and input electric powers of an air source heat pump under different outdoor air temperatures and outlet water temperatures. The heat pump module has a rated electric power of 24.2 kW and a rated COP of 3.55 under the standard condition with an ambient temperature of 7℃ and an outlet water temperature of 45℃. Power-consuming components of the heat pump include the compressor and fans, excluding circulating water pumps.  Dataset_3: Operating frequencies of fans, water pump for heat pump, and water pump for heat release in two consecutive days from 9:00 on Jan. 17 to 9:00 on Jan. 19, 2021 (i.e., two heating cycles).  Dataset_4: Running states of the dual-source heat pumps, including settings of inlet water temperature of the heat pump unit, inlet water temperature of the heat pump unit, the temperature of CSG air taken as heat source, running statuses of compressors of heat pump modules, outlet water temperatures of heat pump modules, and electric currents of compressors, in the two heating cycles.  Dataset_5: Air temperature inside the heated multi-span greenhouse.
