This manuscript presents a meta-analysis of 500 peer-reviewed studies on the quality of healthcare in the Philippines published between 1990 and 2025. It examines thematic evolution, methodological trends, and policy relevance across three decades of research. Findings highlight shifts from facility audits to equity-driven, patient-centered studies aligned with Universal Health Care (UHC) reforms. The synthesis emphasizes service readiness, patient satisfaction, and health equity as critical drivers of policy and practice, while also identifying persistent gaps in regional coverage, longitudinal tracking, and inclusion of indigenous health perspectives.
