Description

The aerosol-generating procedures like root canal treatment (RCT) need to be addressed very cautiously in the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the study was to analyze the efficacy of single visit RCTs carried out with an institutional defined protocol in a tertiary care hospital during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Methods and Material: RCT was done in the patients without RT-PCR negative report considering all standard operating procedures and the patients were advised for post endodontic prosthetic rehabilitation of root canal treated tooth. The patients were followed up after six months and the patient satisfaction, tooth functionality, and any pain/discomfort were evaluated through telemedicine.
