Hibiscus Leaf Image Dataset: High-Resolution Collection of Healthy and Diseased Leaves
Description
This dataset includes 480 high-resolution images of Hibiscus leaves, systematically categorized into Healthy_Leaf (240 images) and Diseased_Leaf (240 images). Developed to support research in plant disease detection, this dataset is suitable for applications in machine learning and computer vision, particularly in the classification and analysis of leaf health. All images were captured using a OnePlus mobile device under controlled conditions, ensuring consistency in quality and focus across the dataset. The camera settings for each image include a focal length of 5.59 mm, aperture of f/1.8, ISO 64, no flash, and an image resolution of 4096 x 3072 pixels. These standardized parameters help to provide a uniform dataset, which is beneficial for accurate training and validation in machine learning models. The dataset is organized into a main folder, Hibiscus_Healthy_Diseased_leaf_Dataset, with two subfolders. The Healthy_Leaf folder contains 240 images of healthy Hibiscus leaves with no visible signs of disease, while the Diseased_Leaf folder contains 240 images displaying various symptoms of disease. This structure allows researchers and developers to easily navigate and utilize the dataset for studies on plant health, disease detection, and automated diagnosis.
