This is a supplemental video related to the ongoing submission of short communication. The video shows two independent cases of the Eurasian Jay attracted to the snake-specific alarm call of the Oriental Tit and attempted to predate nestling/fledging. The first part of the video shows a Eurasian Jay attracted to the speaker playing back "jar" call of the Oriental Tit and tried to predate nestlings inside the nest box. The second part of the video shows a pair of Eurasian Jay attracted to the speaker playing back "jar" call of the Oriental Tit. There was a fledgling who was already fledged before our experiment and hidden in the vegetation, and one of the jay chased it when the fledgling flew off.
