Proteins were isolated from human brain microvascular pericytes incubated under normoxic (21% O2, 5% CO2, 24 h) or hypoxic (1% O2, 5% CO2, 24 h) conditions. PageRuler Plus Prestained Protein Ladder (#26619; Thermo Scientific) was used; n=2 Orignal gel showing PCR products on total RNA from human brain microvascular pericytes with RNAse R (RNase R +) or without (RNase R -). circPLOD2 was amplified with specific primers across the back-splice junction. Linear PDGFR-β and VEGFA mRNAs were used as controls.
