A retrospective collection was conducted on the clinical and imaging data of 151 patients with DLS who were hospitalized in the spine surgery department of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University (Qingdao) from January 1, 2020, to June 30, 2024. Among them, there were 31 males and 118 females; the average age was 64.61 ± 9.54 years (range, 45–87 years). The slipped segments included L3 in 7 cases, L4 in 116 cases, and L5 in 28 cases. According to the Meyerding classification, there were 126 cases of grade I slippage, 24 cases of grade II, and 1 case of grade III. All patients had varying degrees of low back and leg pain symptoms, and the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) scores for low back pain were collected.
