Description

In our study, we have focused exclusively on dinosaur tooth generations from species for which CT data are available. For other taxa, some have not been subjected to this type of research, or only have histological sections available, which we consider less rigorous. This is because CT imaging provides the most accurate and detailed view of the internal dentary structure, allowing for a precise determination of the number of tooth generations. Additionally, the CT data of Psittacosaurus that we used are included in this dataset. It contains the parameters of the CT experiment and reveals the tooth arrangement and replacement pattern of Psittacosaurus.
