The purpose of this database is to share data about survival of synchronous contralateral axillary metastases in breast cancer CAM through literature analysis. Methods: A systematic review following PRISMA guidelines to evaluate the prognosis of synchronous CAM is conducted through a search in PubMed, Embase, Clinical Key, and Cochrane Library databases. We present one case. The median age, follow-up, clinico-pathological characteristics, status of lymph nodes, treatments, and outcomes are stated. Results: A total of 23 articles were included, with a total of 68 patients

The search strategy was: a search in PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library and Clinical Key databases in September 2020 using Mesh terms: breast neoplasm AND breast cancer AND lymph nodes AND contralateral AND axilla. Reference list of selected full-text papers was manually evaluated to identify additional studies. The full strategy used in PubMed is the same as Moossdorff (Moossdorff M, Vugts G, Maaskant-Braat AJG, et al. Contralateral lymph node recurrence in breast cancer: Regional event rather than distant metastatic disease. A systematic review of the literature. Eur J Surg Oncol. 2015; 41(9):1128-1136)
