Description

This dataset is used to validate EnergyPlus prediction against the real data. The selected office building is located near Munich (Regensburg). The total floor area of the building is 1200 sq. m. with rectangular floor plan of dimensions of 14.7×27 m. The building has three floors and floor-to-floor height of 3.25 m. The actual heating and cooling energy consumption has been recored for two year 2017 and 2018. We have developed an early stage EnergyPlus model using ASHRAE core and perimeters zones division with the perimeter depth of 4.5 m. The simulation results shows an energy requirement of 44.3 MWh/a against the actual average energy consumption of 43.97 MWh/a. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Institute of Energy Efficient and Sustainable Design and Building, Technical University, Munich (TUM) and Ferdinand Tausendpfund GmbH & Co. KG for providing the energy consumption and design data for Tausendpfund building.
