Description

(1) Plant diseases are the primary cause of reduced productivity in agriculture, which results in economic losses. Guava is an important source of nutrients like vitamin C in plants all around the world. Guava  diseases, on the other hand, have a negative impact on Guava fruit productivity in terms. (2) Computer vision and Image processing have significant impact on the recognition of various diseases in plants and fruits. (3) The dataset contains the image of Guava leaves and fruits which are affected along with disease-free that can be utilized to develop an automated system for the researchers to predict the diseases in guava plants. The dataset is comprised with four diseases of guava namely Phytopthora, Red Rust, Scab, and Styler and Root. Besides the disease-free leaves are also attached with the dataset. (4) Two types of datasets are included here one is the original dataset (a total of 527 images) and another is augmented dataset (a total of 4899 images) . Each image contains a generalized dimension of 512*512. (5) With the help of the domain experts and plant research center, the images have been collected manually from guava garden of Bangladesh Agriculture University, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
