Description

Under the critical race theory framework, I predict that LGBT members of color are more likely to feel less of a sense of belonging to the LGBT community than their White counterparts. Using an LGBTQ+ sample (N=2,110) from the Social Justice Sexuality Survey, ordered logistic regression modeling reveals that Blacks and Hispanics are less likely to report a sense of belonging to the LGBT community than Whites. Moreover, the statistical analysis also documents that particular demographic variables, such as income, have significant effects.
