Structured survey questionnaire conducted with residents of Mpanda and Moshi districts in central and Northern Tanzania about their awareness, perceptions and practices of voluntary blood donations. Also, there is data that assesses the amount of blood collected in blood banks in the two districts. Additionally, there is qualitative data that explores opinions and recommendations of stakeholders on the need to improve voluntary blood donations in the two districts.
