Description

This dataset provides RT-qPCR data for a 22-month-long (Jan 2020 - Nov 2021) densely-sampled time series of SARS-CoV-2 concentrations in municipal wastewater influent from Deer Island Wastewater Treatment Plant. This WWTP serves a catchment of ~2.3 million people in the greater Boston-area, comprised mostly of Norfolk, Suffolk, and Middlesex counties. 24-hour composite samples of influent wastewater (from north and south influents) were collected and subjected to viral concentration, RNA extraction, and RT-qPCR for SARS-CoV-2 N1/N2 gene fragments and pepper mild mottle virus (PMMoV) gene fragments. Raw Cq values and calculated concentrations are provided for each RT-qPCR replicate, as well as per-sample average concentrations of SARS-CoV-2 and PMMoV, and flow data.
