Several geochemical and isotopic indicators were detected along the sediment core C1-MC1601, which was collected from subtropical Northwest Pacific. This dataset contains Tdata of age, Ti, Cu, Zn, Ba, total organic carbon (TOC), total nitrogen (TN), organic carbon and nitrogen isotopic composition (δ13C, δ15N), biogenic silica, specific activity of 230-Th and 226-Ra, median grain size (D50), eolian flux (F-eolian), mass accumulation rate of biogenic silica (MAR-BSi) and the deposition flux of excess Ba after correction for diffusion (F-exess Ba) of each sediment layer. Using this data, reliability of these indicators was assessed, and appropriate indicators were used to reconstruct the paleo-oceanographic environment of this region.
