Description

Advances in digital technology have brought about a major transformation in healthcare, especially through the adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT). This study explores research trends and patterns related to health innovation and IoT during the period 2002-2023 using bibliometric visualization. The goal is to evaluate the development of IoT adoption in the healthcare field that is useful to businesses, including the evolution of trends, research collaboration, and the contribution of countries and institutions. The research was conducted by analyzing 669 literatures from the Scopus database using the R application analysis tool. The results of the reviewed literature prove that IoT can improve the quality of care, operational efficiency, cost efficiency and personal health solutions that can be a competitive advantage for healthcare businesses that adopt it. The research also identifies the important role of technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning that play a crucial role in the development of health innovations through data security and efficiency. Additionally, the thematic evolution shows a shift in focus from data privacy to process automation, reflecting technological advancements in the healthcare sector. Therefore, a thorough analysis of the literature in the field of Health Innovation and IoT not only summarizes the current research features and directions, but also provides important insights for researchers, healthcare workers and stakeholders to address problems, improve business efficiency and maintain the sustainability of the global health system through in-depth research in the future.
