Photorefractive effect in a crystal LiNbO3stoich was excited by a 532 nm band of a MLL-100 Y:Al-garnet laser. The image was registered by a digital photo camera SONY NEX-F3 on the exit face of a crystal. In order to avoid an over-illumination of the camera matrix, the image center (the laser spot) was covered by a light-tight shield of black paper. Photorefractive effect caused appearance of laser-induced defects around the laser beam. The refractive index in these defects is changed.
