AI Governance in public organizations

Description

This research aimed to investigate how public organizations have incorporated the guidelines presented by the academia, legislation and international standards into their governance, management, and AI systems development processes focusing on ethical principles. One share data and documents used in empirical research regarding AI governance in 28 public organizations around the world. Primary data were collected by means of online questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. Fuzzy QCA and crisp-set QCA were used to identify how those organizations have prioritized, combined and internalized practices and processes towards AI governance.
