Dataset for manuscript titled: Quantifying voyage optimisation with wind propulsion for short-term CO2 mitigation in shipping. Authors: James Mason, Alice Larkin, Simon Bullock, Nico van der Kolk, John F. Broderick This dataset contains data from over 200,000 simulated departures across fourteen global shipping routes, providing fuel savings estimations of Flettner rotors on a Panamax bulk carrier ship. Both great circle route and weather routing simulation results are provided.
